Dr. Tamar Atmajian

Dr. Tamar Atmajian brings over a decade of school site and tutoring experience and a wealth of knowledge to the world of education. With a fervent belief in the power of relationships, she has championed the cultivation of environments that foster growth, learning, and success in schools. Driven by the principles of nurturing positive learning environments and embracing a growth mindset, she places the development of relationships at the forefront of students' academic success.

 

Dr. Atmajian has committed to a journey of life-long learning. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies; master's degrees in Education and Educational Administration; a multiple subject credential; a single subject credential in English; and an administrative credential. She continues to remain up-to-date with the most recent research by attending local and national conferences, workshops, and a variety of education programs. 

 

She currently serves as a curriculum developer (virtual courses and traditional curricula), course instructor, and program coordinator. Her leadership experiences at Los Angeles Unified School District and the Los Angeles County of Education have positioned her as a visionary dedicated to shaping innovative educational practices. Dr. Atmajian's multifaceted roles have solidified her commitment to fostering environments where diversity is celebrated and each student's unique journey is valued and leveraged to support their academic success. Her impact resonates through her dynamic approach, combining a growth mindset with effective communication, creating a lasting influence on educational communities, and promoting excellence in learning.
